PalsAbroad is an academic/social online networking service that connects the study aboard community worldwide by allowing registered members to set up unique personal profiles and link these to others throughout the network. PalsAbroad members can view each other’s profiles, communicate with other study abroad students and program directors, stay informed about course assignments and requirements, meet new friends, share photos, and post blogs or comments. To enrich our members' experience, we request and display some personal information to other members, which allows our members to identify each other and expand their network of pals. Members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other members communicate with them. |

Personal Information We Collect |

During registration, personal information including name and email address will be requested. Collecting email addresses enables PalsAbroad to certify the authenticity of its members. We may also use collected email addresses to send notifications, updates, newsletters or news regarding services to members of the PalsAbroad community in an effort to enhance member experience. |

Once registered, PalsAbroad collects other member data including but not limited to: faculty/focus of study, university name, location of study abroad, personal interests, gender and age in order to aid members in creating a profile and finding or communicating with others. Member profile information including pictures and first names may be displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the PalsAbroad academic/social networking community. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members, unless members voluntarily choose to use full names as their displayed profile name. To facilitate searching and networking amongst members, PalsAbroad allows profile searching by first name, faculty/focus of study, university name, location of study abroad and personal interests. |

Non-Personally-Identifiable Information (Aggregate Data) |

Non-personally-identifiable information about usage and service operation that is not associated with a specific personal identity including but not limited to: unique URLs visited on PalsAbroad websites and communities, IP address, aggregate user data, browser type, cookies is also logged from each user and visitor to the site. This data is used to better design and manage the website and to track usage. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties in order to improve services to members. We never use or share personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above. |

PalsAbroad does not pass, sell, trade or rent personal or non-personally-identifiable information entered on our website or community to others. To better understand your needs and interests and to provide you with better service, we reserves the right to and in the future may chose to share information with selected third parties who provide website maintenance or other services to PalsAbroad. |

(vi) if a complaint arises concerning members’ use of the website and/or community, and that use is deemed by PalsAbroad inconsistent with the Terms and Conditions of Use. |
